Hi; i love my cat a lot but someone here dislike him and wants to do evil to it, so for info my cat now is in good health a male cat of 3 years, vaccinated and not spayed. He regularly move outdoor with other cats for two years so i guess he have an experience in living outdoor even if when he is outdoor he always come home for food or to relax.

I have searched for an animal rescue service but i haven't find any in the city except one, when i have asked them by phone they toll me that they sell cats and foremost my cat isn't small so he won't like to stay with them so they toll me to not take him to them. So now i have two choices, i would like someone advice me which one is best :

1. Put my cat in a beach, far about 8Km from my house. The location their is calm and there is few people, living in villas also i have seen some little cats around but don't know if they are outdoor or adopted.
2. Take my cat to the compaign, a too far village around 70Km. There is just one road theirs and everything else is just milles of void territories, the road is 60 metters from the house which probably contain dogs as well. I don't know if my oncle have time to take care of my cat or no but i have seen a kitten their in a month a go living with my oncle in his house.

So what is the best place for my 3 years old cat ?

Thank you very mush for your advices.

Are you moving to one of these places and taking your cat with you?

Or are you dropping your cat off at one of these places and abandoning it?

If it is the second option I don't suspect you will get any sort of positive advice or feedback about abandoning a pet... No one here will condone such behavior, it is very much so frowned upon. My suggestion is if there are no shelters to take your cat to and you can no longer keep him, try to find a home for him on your own. Maybe someone else or another family will want him. Good luck.

If i let him go outdoor here, bad guys will harm him and will do evil to him because he is threatened by someone i don't know who. Also he can't stay all the month at home because regularly he need to run, to walk in free spaces. Yes i mean dropping my cat off at one of these places because i believe he can count on himself now like the outdoor cats i have seen and you should know that cold weather and hunger is thousand time better than those bad guys.

Now for the second possibility, my oncle may give him food at home but he is going to be free to enter house or walk outdoor, but what is the guarantee that the cat will keep coming to home or he will walk away.

If someone is threatening to harm your cat if you let him outside in your neighborhood, you need to keep him inside. You cat does not NEED to go outside to roam in "free spaces". He may WANT to go outside but you can absolutely make him an indoor-only cat, especially if there is a dangerous person in your neighborhood.

One thing that would help you train him to become indoors-only is to have him neutered. He will have less of a drive to "roam" if you have him fixed.

I know you believe if you abandon  him on the beach or somewhere else that you think is a "lovely" place that he will be happy and carefree but this is NOT the case. Cats are very territorial and if you drop a cat off into another cat's territory (or neighborhood) that is not his own there will be fighting. Your cat will either be run out of the territory, badly injured from fighting resident alpha cats or possibly killed.

If you love your cat, please keep him indoors or find another home for him where someone will care for him, whether that is another person or a shelter.

I do understand your dilemma, and can only make a couple of points that may help you decide what to do. First, this cat will wander around because he has not been neutered. As a full male cat he will search for females and he will fight other males for territory and access to female cats. He is therefore in great danger wherever he is even without people wishing to harm him. |||Male cats outside do not live long - they get killed in fights or by infection from wounds or by cars as they go off searching for mates So the first thing to do if you want to help your cat is to get him neutered, even though I know that is not a common thing where you live. Ask the vet to do it - it is a small operation and the cat will be much happier and calmer afterwards.

AS for somewhere to live, there are several ideas. Once he is neutered, he will be much more content to live indoors. So you could try keeping him in and see what happens. He may cry at first but if he is given love and toys to play with - a ball, some crinkly foil, they do not need to be expensive - he may settle down where he knows there is food and companionship. He is already used to human lifestyles so he will be miserable without a family of his own and will not like have to live his own life without a house to go to. If you decide you cannot keep him then I would ask your uncle if he would take him - it is likely that he would not run away if he is kept indoors for a while until he is used to the new place and let out gradually for a while each day. Or maybe you can find another family to take him.

Please do not abandon him - he will be very unhappy and may die from fighting or starvation as other strange cats may not allow him near the food sources.
