Hello everyone,
I could use some help and tips with my cats. I have two girls that both got pregnant at about the same time. I have never had a pregnant cat let alone two. Lillie and Luna both got out side and I discovered that there was a Tom running around my house (I live in the country so it was quite a shock for me). Luna has been outside countless times so it was nothing new to find her outside however Lillie is petrified of the outside so it was a massive shock to find her outside. Now both girls are definitely showing. I can't tell exactly how far along they are but the last two days Lillie has been extremely affectionate which is unusual for her. She normally only wants attention from her daddy right before bed. The last two days however she's taking attention anytime my husband and I are in our bad room. Luna on the other hand has become fairly moody toward all the other cats and only want a My attention after she eats. What should I be looking for when it comes to signs of labor? Does anyone have ideas of how I can make a nesting spot(s) for both of my girls? Any advice. Or tips is more than welcome!

They went out not accidentally, they smelled the Tom...

To pinpoint  delivery is not easy, even when you have different signs.   The best tip is 1.  You know surely when they mated, count 65 days - it will be roughly but still you have a measure.  Next is to feel the kittens move, about 2 weeks feeling, or somewhat longer.  If you are good at palpation, perhaps even 3 weeks...

Nesting, yes prepare some.  They themselves will probable take them late.  They dont want to soil their nest too early.   If they are best freinds, they want perhps to be togehter.  But be prepared to have them at two different places...   Fleece of flannel is good to have the kittens in.  So gather fleece and or flannel, not only old towels.

Good luck!
