My cat scratched herself until she bled?

Should I take her to the vet tomorrow? It's only on one spot, and she doesn't seem to scratch anywhere else. I provided a picture down low. The area is about 1.5 cm. How should I care for the area?

I would take her in, that's odd that she scratched so much until raw.  Vet could most likely explain why.  Is she on any meds, is she outside much?  I would take her in for sure, just to see what is going on.  Good luck with this cutie, let us know what is up with her raw itchy patch on face!

You can clean the wound with some warm water and cotton wool, then put a bit of antiseptic cream on it. The same kind you on your own cuts is fine.

One of my cats scratched himself raw after he got bitten by a mosquito. Have you checked for fleas? Are there any other biting insects in your area? If it's just one spot and it scabs over fairly quickly it's probably nothing to worry about, but if she keeps scratching herself think about food allergies, fleas or mites or maybe stress. Cats sometimes obsessively lick or scratch at themselves if they are feeling stressed out.

Twinkie is fine! Thank you everyone :) i cleaned the scab, and kept an eye on it and it healed fine. She hasn't scratched anymore. Maybe it was due to stress as the day before my sister's friend brought over 2 kittens and Twinkie wasn't to fond of them.
