What is my Kitty?

This is my cat Poppy, I got her 8 years ago. I love her to pieces

Tortoiseshell, tortie, isnt so bad to say, as she has it as her main coloring.  And white, of course.

But she is apparently a tabby too.   I think even a classical tabby.   Which is not so common.  Tortie and tabby are usually striped tabby.

Tortie and tabby are often called for Torbie.   Thus here, classical torbie and white.      Where classical is about being the classical tabby - also called for marmored.

Breed?  We cant know.  97% of cats dont belong to any breed, nor fresh mixes thereof.  Unlike dogs where dog since long ago were bred into breeds.  And from them we get mixes.   Its the opposite with cats.  Hardly nobody bothers to breed the broad cat population.  But some few of them are used into breeding programmes and becomes pedigreed with time.  And pedigree cats are usually kept home, usually not interbreeding with other cats outside.  So there arent that much mixes either.

Being longhaired, and having this triangularish head, she is somewhat alike a Norwegian Forest Cat.

Its nice to have some incite into my kitty I googled Torbie and it looks just like her!

Poppy is very fluffy and she is quite a small cat too, i don't know what what the father looks like

could have been anything but from what ive seen Torbie seems like a pretty good guess.

It is easy to see why you love her so much. She is a sweet looking little cat. I love her too and I've never seen her. :lol3:
