I am going to assume nothing here.  My female cat is a rescue.  I will never understand why I found here where I did, but I am so glad she was there for me to find and save.

She was born in April of 2013

Fur is Black (she has 1 white hair on her back and a small heart or triangular patch of white on her tummy)

Eyes started out gold and are now green

Nose, pads and whiskers are all black.

She was real small and still smaller than I thought she would be.  She may have been a runt or (because when I found her she was half starved with ribs showing, fleas and worms) maybe her growth was stunted.  Maybe she is just a petite kitty.

Here are some pics of her.:

On her harness and leash outside for a walk.

All dressed up.

Thank you for taking the time to look. Any thought on what she may have in her?

As far as behavior goes, she does not cry much.  Hardly ever and she has the most adorable tiny little voice.  She is social with stranger.  She likes to greet them with a lick and lets almost anyone pet her.  Her fur is not corse at all.  It is satin-like in feel.  She hates direct sunlight.  She acts like she is gonna die if she gets hot.  Very over dramatic.  She eats about 2 cans of food and some dry food every day.  Probably about 8 lbs.  She went to the vet recently, so I am basing on that weight. Anything else needed to know?

The very most cats belong to the general pool of cats, without any especial breed.  But also, almost any type can be found there...

So the most probable is she is a black domestic shorthair.

But if you want to compare her with a breed?   It will be probably the Oriental.   The muzzle is not perfect for a show quality oriental, but otherwise she should pass as one.    :)

Tx for saving this life,

and congrats to your little furry friend!

I agree with StefanZ here.  Few cats are of a Pedigree breed but that said your beautiful little black cat has the long legged, lean build and narrow face of an Oriental type cat.  Her proportions are most attractive.  She really is very pretty.  Thank you for rescuing her and bringing her good health.
