What was your last impulse buy? Do you regret or or happy with the purchase?

Today, I bought myself a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. My first tablet. I almost regret it, but I've been wanting a tablet for a long time now. mainly to read books on and play some app games that's too small for my phone. The offer also includes $200 worth of free books and movies. good seller for me. It cost $179 (most tablets are over $250!)

Kindle Fire, same reason as you.
Happy with my purchase, with one disappointment -- lots of favorite apps unavailable. I'm tempted to root the kindle, which would then completely void the warranty, but at least I get to play Don't Tap The White Tile

I wouldn't say really it was  an impulse buy because I did a lot of research before I bought my refurbished Mac Pro with retina display for 1189.00 plus tax. my daughter is in gifted classes and last year we were unprepared for her stem fair project as well another assignments due to not having a decent computer and printer. Her school uses Apple computers so I thought this was a wize choice.Over the years I have had several computers purchased used or given to me and all of thm gave me problems. So far I haven't gotten buyers remorse  I just worry about spending that kind of money for a lap top hoping I don't end up feeling like I threw away my money

OK, Cory, talked me right into that one! I'll check it out when I get into work this morning. I'm really getting tired of the games I have. I cuss that stupid owl out every morning. And that darn Bubble Witch isn't much better. I've been playing some Majongg lately and some word games. Always up for something new!

I haven't made any impulse buys lately, unless you want to count getting Starz for August and September, just so I can watch Outlander. Wasn't really an impulse, though, as I had planned on that from the moment I knew for sure that Outlander was coming to tv.

Just purchased a camera bag, a really nice one that will hold 3 lenses, some accessories and even, some daily essentials.  It kind of doubles as a work bag, messenger type.  It was more than I was going to pay, but even less than I thought I might have to in order to get the size and quality I was looking for.  I saw it online, it got great reviews and I hit "add to cart" without much thought.  Totally psyched for its arrival.

my last purchase that was kind of an impulse buy was two inexpensive sets of small wire brushes, which i'll need to use when i replace my wood stove gasket this fall. i did already have a good steel wire brush, but it's bigger and the head is wider than the narrow channel the gasket sits in -- so it's best to use on the interior and exterior of the wood stove. i bought the one set which has steel bristle, brass bristle, and nylon bristle brushes -- one of each kind. then i thought about it and decided that it's better to be fully prepared for this kind of thing so i don't have to run over to the hardware store in the middle of the work -- the hardware store is about a 2 or 3 minute walk from my house. so i bought a set of three small brass bristle brushes too. the total for both sets of brushes was about $5-6.

i almost never buy things on impulse. i tend to plan all purchases very carefully, and many times find ways to "make do" using things i have already. part of my reason for this is because i have big home improvement goals that i want to make happen -- 30 years worth of saving for and having them done, and the sooner i save and have them done the sooner they'll all be completed. the other part of the reason i plan purchases very carefully is because i need to make sure snick's medical needs are met as well as be able to give her the bigger and little gifts which i know she enjoys so much.

Do you like it? I have been looking at tablets for some time now and this one is the most favorable. Glen has the Samsung Galaxy S3 cell phone so I'm familiar with the operating system. I just haven't been able to make up my mind which tablet I want. Though Apple products are completely out of the question because I can't justify spending $500.00 on a tablet lol.

For the price, it's a pretty fair tablet. Its great for reading, if you want to read books.

It doesn't have all the apps an iPad would have, but there are a lot.

Movie/TV show quality is awesome- but the sound is as expected- garbled. You'd have to wear headphones.

Internet is good- speed depends on the wi-fi connection.

the casing is plastic, not metal like other tablets. It's lighter weight, but feels so much more fragile. I'd get a case covering for it.

Battery drains pretty quickly.. I'd say 5-6 hours of continuous use and its time to recharge.
