Salutations! :sun:

What is your favourite meal to have for breakfast?

I do love bacon and eggs. Second place would be cinnamon toast or croissants.

Yea, bacon and eggs.  Although a really good bagel, cream cheese and belly lox (it's the salty one) are equally as delish for me!

I'm not big on breakfast; my stomach doesn't really want anything until around noon.

But I am very fond of drinking a big mug of coffee, with a splash of cream.

Lol, I don't eat breakfast until at least noon.  I get up late  most mornings so I don't eat anything till later, I can't eat too early either.

my breakfast almost every morning is two hard boiled eggs, a bowl of cereal w/milk, and a glass of juice. i prefer a quick breakfast with minimal dirty dishes made.

many evenings i'll have eggs (fried, scrambled, or omelet) with toast and sometimes bacon or breakfast sausage, or i'll have a serving of breakfast casserole. i wouldn't mind making pancakes or french toast later in the day either.

I usually make cheese omelette or sunny eggs with toast.

Sometimes if I am lazy, I'll have waffles or bowl of cereal

We usually have juice, coffee and a croisant or bagel. We're earlybirds so breakfast is usually around 7:30 or 8 a.m. On a cruise my very favorite is eggs benedict!

I don't usually eat breakfast, but I absolutely LOVE cereal. I could probably eat it for every meal lol. Not the sugary kind either. I prefer Crispix or Cheks... the sweetest I eat is Honey Combs or Honey Bunches of Oats.

When I was a kid, I would spend my summers with my cousins out our grandparent's camp. Every Sunday morning, without fail, my grandmother would make bacon and eggs and we would all sit down together and eat. It was probably my favorite day of the week.

During the week, my breakfast is my morning coffee with a Granny Smith apple, usually around 9:00 or so here at work.

My favorite breakfast is the Sunrise Sampler at the Cracker Barrel. I always order Eggbeaters for my egg and turkey sausage to try to make it wee bit healthier.

At home, when we actually make breakfast, it's usually some kind of French toast as it's Rick's favorite breakfast. Sometimes I may throw an omelet together, but it's rare. However, we do breakfast for dinner sometimes, and that's when I make omelets. Or pancakes or waffles.

Rick eats instant flavored oatmeal during the week for his breakfast. On weekends, he and Tabby share a bowl of Frosted Mini Wheats. That's Tabby's favorite cereal. And she knows when it's the weekend. I usually get up earlier than Rick and prepare the cats' breakfast. When Tabby thinks enough is enough and she wants her Mini Wheats NOW, she'll go back to the bedroom. hop up on the bed, and start yelling at Rick to get his butt out of bed. I hear her yelling, then I hear Rick say, "All right already! Geez, woman!"
Then while he's getting the bowl of cereal ready, she sits on the kitchen table, waiting not so patiently for Rick to bring breakfast to her. Saturdays and Sundays are for Frosted Mini Wheats.....and Tabby knows it.

Of course, if we're talking about what we really eat, as opposed to what we love to eat...

My usual is a half a bagel, a tablespoon or 2 of cream cheese, and coffee with skim milk.  Or, a small yogurt/coffee.  Or a bowl of Cheerios/skim milk/coffee.

I can't eat the way I'd like to any more lol.

I love Cracker Barrel.  The closest one is like 1-1/2 hours away so I can't even tell you the last time I ate at one.  But, I always look forward to it if we're traveling and happen to find one on our way to wherever.

I can eat anything from Cheerios, to sausage gravy on biscuits, to sushi for breakfast.  My favorite breakfasts were in Germany, those hard crusted rolls with real butter...there was something about that butter!

I usually have a heartier cereal like Morning Crisp with milk or soy/almond milk, but I also like oatmeal, pancakes, and toast and eggs. The latter is very rare for me.

Lately I have just been having a Luna bar which is basically a healthy granola bar with nutrion for women.

I LOVE to have a nice big breakfast with bacon and eggs and all that (like a Denny's Grand Slam :D). Eggs must not be runny, crispy bacon, no sausage (I don't like fennel). I don't eat egg whites only (ugh. An egg is nature's perfect nutrition, but most of the nutrients are in the yolk, so I don't think it's healthy to eat whites without the yolk. Low-fat does not equal healthy), so if it's touted as "healthy" I have to ask them to use whole egg.

What do I usually eat? Most of the time, a banana and a Babybel cheese, maybe a pack of nuts if I have some around. I don't do well with carbs in the morning. . .the banana is all I can handle, no muffins or donuts or pancakes or I'll get a stomach ache. I'll have a hardboiled egg if I have any made but that's kind of rare. If I have time (but I never have time in the morning :tongue2:), I'll make scrambled eggs with cheese.

I love a good ol hearty breakfast; as long as it's not served TOO soon after i get up.  I need to get going first.

Think eggs (sunny side up or scrambled usually but any will do depending on my mood), bacon/sausage/ham, hash browns, pancakes and fruit!  Yummy!!  We will do this for dinner on the weekends sometimes.  My kids get excited about it.  We usually do butterscotch pancakes and blueberry.
