i have this newborn that its mom left her, I have been feeding her and it has been touch and go but she seems OK. But know I see little milk bubbles coming out of her nose. I haven't been feeding her fast, I've used a dropper, she is held in the correct position I just don't now what I'm doing wrong, or how to fix it. If you have any comments please.

Ouch.   My first reaction is to think on a hole in the gum roof inside the mouth - ie a serious fault they can be born with.   (cleft in palatum??   these words appear in my mind)

Unusual but not unique, not with humans and not with cats.

Most cat owners let them be pts.   They can sometimes be saved, the key is to give milk by dropper, as they cant suckle.  No momma suckle, and not bottle. so it will be dropper, and later on  a syringe without needle..   If he survives into later kittenhood, later on he can of  eat almost as usual.

My guess for now is he is still with us just because he got abandoned and you give him kmr with a dropper in the correct position.

Im not sure if surgery is strictly necessary.   Preferable for an fully normal life, sure, but if the hole isnt big, not strictly necessary...   Im almost sure I knew examples of cats who made it into adulthood and almost normal live with this hole.   Humans too.

You can perhaps feel with your smallest finger on the roof of the gum, in the mouth?    Or if you know somebody knowleable.

I mean, if you feel the cleft, you will immediately know for sure.

You mentioned to me in the PM you will take her to a vet.   It is wise, the problem is

not all vets are good with helping with weak kittens, so its somewhat a lottery.

But a vet will surely know if it this hole or not.

And if so, you will discuss it through and take your decision from there.

Im sorry I dont have a more positive answer for now.

Warm greetings and vibes to you and this little one still fighting on.    @imalover16

    Good luck!

Its ok-we do this with people after they have strokes.

Could be palate deformity,or swallow problem,is kitten very young ,premature??

Its a guess, human babies premature have swallowing problems.

Also ,small amounts in very upright position. And observe the breathing for "wet sounds-liquid in lungs".

Yes,the vet might be helpful. All that education and sometimes they have insight .

With people you would encourage a cough-do cats cough??Watch for this,a sign of

neurological development,and clears the lungs.

I'm sorry to say  the baby died sometime during the night. Thank you for your thought though. I deeply appreciate it.
