Can someone help me fix my name?! Thanks to my iPad auto correct, the name I wanted to use SDaussin, was changed to sad...something weird! Lol! Who can help me get that corrected?

I am glad I found this site, I have 3 cats, TallyHo!, Monsta and Isaboo. Tally will be 18 in Ovtober, Monsta is 7, Isaboo is 6. They share their lives with us, 4 dogs and usually one or two rescue dogs.

I am particularly interested in issues regarding CKD since Tally was diagnosed with that a year or so ago.
Looking forward to meeting everyone and their felines :)

I'll work my magic on your username and you'll be SDaussin in a minute or two.

Welcome to TCS! What unique names your cats have!

We've had an expert forum about kidney issue not so long ago, and there was lots of info on kidney issues and treatment there -

http://www.thecatsite.com/f/5825/kidney-issues-in-cats-with-dr-kris

Since this was a guest expert forum, it was only open for one week so you can no longer post questions for Dr. Kris there. However, you can post them in the Cat Health forum

Anne, thank you so much! I'm not sad, well trying to not be sad, I don't want her picking up on my emotions. She is truly the love of my life and she loves me more than I love her. She absolutely hates every other living creature on earth and let's them know with hissing, spitting and growling. Feisty little red tabby, therefore we named her TallyHo! because she looked like a fox.

Monsta was a 3 ounce kitten that I hand raised and he was so tiny and frail I wanted him to have a big name. So that's his gangsta name. He's now a 12 lb hunk of love. He has no clue that he's not a dog-human. But that's all he's known since his cat mom abandoned him.

Isaboo is a small white cat that we adopted when she was 8-10 months old. She has neurological problems (head tilt and lack of coordination) and we adopted her on Halloween. They said her name was Bella Donna. Initially I wanted to keep the Bella name and thought of Isabelle but that wasn't cool enough. When she saw our sheltie, Gossip (another unconventional name, we also had a germ Shep named Rumor ;). Poor Izzie literally stood on her toes and screeched. Scared darling little Gossip to death, so IsaBOO it was.

Thanks also for the info on where to start. I work for a small animal practice and the vets are amazing. The owner, my dear friend, vet is never offended or opposed to me bringing info that may help our furkids and she even carries several products I've found that helped our dogs and cats that "traditional" vet clinic might not have. Best. Job. Ever.

P. S. The rest of our fur family :

Buttons, already named rescue sheltie
"Viva" Las Vegas, rescue sheltie that I named that because my husband was in Vegas and couldn't do anything About the fact I was gonna keep her, lol!
MiMi, aka Screaming MiMi, Doberman who screamed her head off the first 3 weeks of puppyhood.
Tessa Monkey, I have no clue, rescued mixed breed. She is truly a cat whisperer. I so regret not videoing her with Isaboo. She is a very tender hearted and honestly a special dog.
Little Joe, My Hoss. My Quarterhorse. I was a Bonanza fan, and Hoss reminded me so much of my Dad.

Sorry to ramble. I'm just so happy that my name is changed, Lol! Now if you can please tell me how to get an avatar from my iPad pics, it keeps giving me an error message.

Thanks! If we didn't want to have room to continue to foster, the two mini long hair dachshunds we are currently fostering would soo be our newest dogs. They are simply darling. Bonded sisters, 3 years old. But, if we keep them, we can't help the next.....so we brace ourselves knowing the bittersweet ness of fostering.

I'm way too paranoid about cat viruses to foster cats or kittens.
