My queen Cheetah is preggers. Inoticed swelling of her belly around the end of July. After reading most of the previous post I'm guessing she should be going into labor soon. She hasnt had any changes in behavior really. Shehas started to lay on the kitchen floor more (last2weeks) and doesn't want to be outside as much when it's hot out. I'm more worried about her since this her first litter. Her belly is still soft but last week she was gasy and had clear liquid coming out when she would pass gas. This happened 3-4 times. In the last couple of days she has wanted to be close to me during the day just sleeping a lot if sshe's not on the cool floor.

Any advice on if she should go into labor soon?

Have you felt or seen the babies move? When my queen gave birth the only indication that something was off is that she wanted me to rub her belly. The kittens were moving and kicking until the moment they came out of her. If you noticed her belly swelling at that time then she probably got pregnant two weeks or so before that. As for the gas and the leaking, I don't know anything about that. Someone on here with more experience will be able to help you with that. Good luck with your impending arrivals!

Unfortunately I haven't felt any movement yet but I have felt the babies. Should there be movement? My mom's cat that had kittens 4 yrs ago never had any movement that we felt and had 6 healthy babies including a set of twins.

Its not that there should be because there will be. They are moving that just means you can't feel them. If your queen has a lot of kittens you may not feel them because they are packed in there so tight. If your queen has a small litter it could be that your aren't feeling them because you aren't feeling were they are. The reason I asked if you felt them move is because most of the time you feel or see them move two weeks or so before they are born. I felt my babies move a good 10 days before they were born. Also when she is just laying down Look at her belly. You might be able to see them.

Great news is that I started to feel movement that night! The next night they we so active I could actually see them moving! My queen does seem to be getting more uncomfortable now though. Hoping to have the babies her in the next week or so that way she will be a little
more comfortable.

That's awesome
Like I said my queen gave birth to her kittens about 10 days or so after I first felt the babies move. I am so excited for you! Kittens are so amazing to have! Are you going to keep them?

I am very excited! I might keep one but I'm not sure yet. I do plan on finding forever homes for them and already have several people who want one. Just waiting for them to make their appearance so I can see how many forever homes I need to find. This will be my queen's only litter as well since I plan on getting her fixed as soon as I can. That's why I'm thinking about keeping a kitten.

That's great! Yes get her fixed. She shouldn't be fixed until her milk has dried up so make sure she stays away from any toms for the next three months. Remember she can get pregnant again while nursing. I am so excited for you! I remember waiting for my queen to give birth. I also remember waking up to her meowing and BAM .. there was a kitten. Then she had three more. It really is an amazing thing. :D
