My kittens are 12 weeks old, still trying to find them homes but I just noticed they all including mama cat have so many fleas! I just gave them all Hartz flea drops on the back of the neck. I work a lot so I didn't notice the huge flea problem, and I think one or more of them have worms..I'm freaking out right now, I have no clue what to do to get rid of them. Will the flea medicine kill them all or do I need to do something more drastic. Please help! I feel like a horrible mom :/

PLEASE wash the Hartz stuff off your cats ASAP, that stuff is dangerous, sensitive cats can die from it.  Look at this video.

You can get a SAFE flea preparation, Advantage, over the counter, or in a generic kit from eBay.  In the meantime, get a flea comb, metal kind, available at any pet store.  Put water in a bowl and add a little dish soap to it just to break the surface tension.  Comb the fleas off the kittens and cats, flicking each flea out of the comb and into the water where it will drown.  There are many articles you can search about getting rid of fleas.

I'm sending you instructions on how to flea bathe your cat and kittens by private message. That will get rid of the Hartz drops and also get rid of some of the fleas.  You do not need medicated shampoo, you will drown the fleas, not poison them.  Hopefully you will have time over this long holiday weekend, and I can send you more info on flea control tomorrow when i am rested.

I agree; OTC flea products can be deadly.
You can also sprinkle DE (food grade, not pool grade) on the area where the kittens and cats are, including blankets. Available at any home improvement /garden store.
This article explains how DE works.
