If I may trouble someone, how do I add a signature at the bottom like others have and what is the point of creating a list that is an option in My Profile? Sorry I am a Noob.

This link Promotions & Benefits explains what options you get when you attain a certain status. In order to add a signature you need to get to the Adult cat status which requires 100 posts and 10 days of membership Young Cat status: 20 posts and 5 days of membership.
Most people find they reach these two milestones quickly. I look forward to seeing you on the forums.
