My cat who is 4 years old, started labor yesterday. She gave first to kitten around 5pm. (I was away at work) she had her second at 12:25 AM.
She's wanted me by herside, the whole time. I went to work for 9 hours...
She is acting normal and not distressed at all.
I'm worried because I can feel at least two more in there..but she's been taking so long.
What do I do?

If she is normal and not distressed at all, you can probably wait and see.

The situation is not unusual, they can have pauses both several hours and even days.  Especielly if the first ones were somewhat premature.

For other forumites, they arent sure if it is a kitten left, or if it is some natural swellings or similiar.

The problem is possibly, as you have your work to mind, you cant keep an eye on her the whole time - as the situation IS somewhat touchy and you must be vigilant.  You want to be  there if there comes a change for worse, or if she happens to get a longhy, unfruitful labor.

The first labor may be several hours without it being a big problem, but the following labors shall be shorter.

You cant either be near and give her your comfort...    But if you cant so you cant.

Do you have access to a good vet?  If it an experienced vet, it may be wise to phone and talk through.   They are used with this.

Good luck!

Don't worry unless your queen seems distressed. Cats can have different fathers for their babies and can get pregnant at different times. My cat had three of her four babies in the am and didn't have the last one until the next day. She was perfectly fine. The babies she has already had will nurse and that will help her contractions. It is completely normal. Good luck!

She ended up having two more in the middle of the night, one was a still born. The still born was double the size of everyone eelse
But all four are healthy and happy.

Mommy is doing wonderful.
She really doesn't like moving from her box.

Good she and the alive kittens are well and managing nicely.

Pity one was stillborn, I hope the delivery werent too difficult for mom, perhaps damaging her inner parts??  Is she bleeding more than some red colored discharge?

Next question, is if he was so enormous big, or the siblings are rather petite?

The best way to know if you arent very experienced is to weigh them every day...  So you know both their  delivery weigh, and the development later on...

Tx for the report!

Good luck!
