That is amazing.  I knew that dogs can return from something like that so it makes sense that cats can do.  I am glad they are able to do all they can for their kitty.  Of course for those of use who aren't vets and are regular working people, money becomes an issue.  I know a lot of people don't want to admit to that but it's true for most working people.

yes, it's a sad and unfortunate fact that for many/most people money does become an issue. even if not at the beginning of treatment, money could eventually become an issue.

i know i need to be careful, selective of what tests are done for my snick. snick has CKD, IBD, idiopathic hypercalcemia, and borderline diabetes (though last blood work results showed glucose level in normal range). i'm very good at living a frugal lifestyle, and making sure snick's medical needs are met. but i also need to keep an eye on the big picture, make sure i have money set aside for unexpected medical needs for her. even so, it's quite possible that something could come up that i won't be able to afford to test for/treat in the way i would prefer/the best possible way.
