Hello, everyone! My name is Bryse and I am 23 and a real estate agent in Nebraska. I live with my boyfriend and our three 'kids'. I am allergic to cats and used to just not be a big fan at all! Then my boyfriend moved in with his cat, Arkham, and I fell in love. Arkham is a 4.5 year old tuxedo (though he is built like a Maine coon), who weighs a healthy 16.4lbs. He is polydactyl and very affectionate (and lazy). After coming from a house with two other cats, he loved being alone... Until these past few months where he has been so needy when we get home from anywhere.
So we decided to get him a little sister! Now, my allergies aren't affected by Arkham at all, but we wanted to be safe with a new kitten so we found a person my boyfriend knows from work whose cat was having kittens! So we adopted Isabella, a 2 month old, 3.4lb Bengal/Savannah mix. She's so energetic and loving and she's getting so big so fast! Arkham didn't like her at first but now he's getting exercise and is not needy at all when we get home. We think he just wanted company and a young lady was perfect. She's smart, too! She can sit on command and give fives, but doesn't like treats! She likes play as reward.
