Hello again!

I had posted a thread yesterday on how much to feed my cat and everyone needed to know her weight to have the best advice. She weighs 12lbs. So now I'm still debating what food to get her. Money is a little tight so were trying to still give her a wet food diet but without having to buy those crazy expensive brands I was going to go buy her fancy feast but now I see they don't sell in larger cans only the 3oz ones.. However the Friskies brand does sell in the larger cans! Which one is healthier? And is there really a big difference between them? Any other cheaper brands I could be feeding her? Where she's still getting proper nutrition? ( she's 2yo btw h

Sorry for the stupid question, I'm just a new cat mom trying to make good choices!:lol3:

Hello , your kitty is a beauty ..  If you go with Friskies  pate varieties are best as they are lowest in carbs ..  If you have a Petsmart in your area  they have a few affordable brands in 5.5 oz cans  .. They range from 80 to 90 cents per can ..

Authority  , Great Choice , Simply Nourish  . If you go to the  www.petsmart.com  site they give prices for individual cans .  I hope this helps ..

Yes, if you go with Friskies, be sure to only buy the Pates.  Those are lowest in carbs and are actually not too bad for the money.

If you have a Trade Joes near you- their canned cat food is healthier and much less grains. 5.5 oz can at .79 cents a can
