Right off, i'm sorry for phone related typos and formatting. And dim photos of Her Hollyness, she really deserves nicer photos but she always looks so annoyed when I try to get her to look at the camera, or she is eight feet up in her cat tree and not to be seen. Here she is in a rare moment at lower altitude:

Currently she shares our attention with the small feral population in the neighborhood, which we feed and TNR. I found TCS searching for information on FeLV which is a sad problem in the feral group. I've learned so much already reading here. Thank you for the great site. Look forward to interacting with you all!

Hi, welcome to The Cat Site.

So Holly is one of those tree dwelling kitties? A few of mine hardly ever touch the ground either. We're currently expanding our cat shelving so they can get all the way around the house without ever coming down to earth.

Looking forward to hearing more about Holly and your colony cats.

Hi! She is so pretty! I know how hard it is to get pictures of animals. Though with me its my chicks. One of them in particular seems to know when we are trying to take his pictures.

*waving hello back to MassiveDynamic, Norachan, and Ryan Glenn*  Thanks for the welcome!  Holly basks in your appreciation.

Your avatar cats Ryan Glenn and Norachan--hilarious expressions on them both.  Some of Holly's grumpyfaces could work for me here too, if she's not going to pose nicely for the camera.

Holly is a total tree-dweller, except for when she is a lap-dweller.
She wants to stay up high even when she has a hairball or upset tummy... all furniture in her line of fire is covered in extra throw blankets.

We rent our current home and aren't allowed to put lots of holes in the walls, so the kitty trees are a kind of cobbled mess of 2x4s and carpet/sisal and platforms on the big bookcases.  I can't wait until we live somewhere we can put kitty shelves all around the room and have a "catio" outside too!
