Hello,
So I have had one of my foster kittens for 2 months and have taken him to three different vets. The first vet took x-rays of his chest and said he was had flat chested kitten syndrome. His heart is shoved off to the left and he has a rapid heart rate, however, no other issues.
The second vet said that because he has survived this long, he will likely be fine.
Today, the third vet said he actually has pectus excavatum.
I am trying to learn more about this. The vet said it is not nearly as bad as some she has seen.
Can anyone tell me more about this? I will likely be taking him to a cardiologist to see if anything more needs to be done.
Do you have a cat with it? What was their outcome?
Thanks!
