I NEED HELP!!! Every entry or remark I have found has only been a complaint on vet fees, money, blah blah blah! I just need advice from anyone on what to do to help my cat until I can get her to the vet.  She won't move, or eat.  She has sleep all in her eyes and isn't reacting to anything. Food, dogs, nothing! Any suggestions on what it may be and some home remedies or something.  I have a feeling she ate some of the dog food and I know that can hurt a cat. HELP ANYONE!!!

We really don't give medical advice here as we are not qualified. We can only make suggestions based on our experience.

Her symptoms sound pretty serious. Is there an emergency vet near you? That's the only thing I can suggest.

Hopefully, you are able to get her the help she needs. Good luck!

Eating dog food wouldn't do this. Not by a long shot.  When did this start?  Really the only thing you can do is get her to a vet immediately if that's possible.  I know its sunday but 24/7 vets do exist, depending on where you are.  If there is no open vet today I would try and keep her comfortable, and then be at the Vet's office the minute they open Mon am.  No waiting for an appointment, you need to be seen as an emergency.

She really needs to be seen by a vet sooner rather than later.  These are significant signs of illness in your kitty.  It could be anything from an upper respiratory infection to a urinary blockage.  Please get her to the emergency vet immediately.  If you don't have an emergency vet, call your regular vet and listen for after hour instructions.

did you get your cat to the  Vet?  My own cat had this same issue this weekend, and we got her in and it turns out she had issues with her liver, of all things.  (NOT Fatty Liver Disease, but her ALT was off the charts, so something else was going on).  They got her on antibiotics, gave her fluids and an anti-emetic and told us to start force feeding her if she didn't perk up, plus she was scheduled for an ultra sound this morning because of her numbers.  Luckily, though, she perked up yesterday, so when we took her in this morning, they said to put her on a "liver assist" med for a month and then we'll see where we stand.

I sure hope with your own kitty things worked out
.  When they stop eating and drinking, the first thing to do is get them to a Vet, and if that's not possible, then you need to get sustenance in them with a needleless syringe by watering down some canned food and running it thru a blender until it's smooth enough to get sucked up into the syringe, then slowly feed them into the sides of their mouths
