hi everyone! My family and I rescued a small kitten who had been abandoned and was very malnourished. We have had her for just over two weeks and I think she may have been 6 to 8 weeks old when we rescued her. She finally hit 2 pounds today, she was only 0.8 pound when we first rescued her. I contacted the local vet to get more information on determining her age. I guess they missed the part where I said that she was found malnourished so they told me that her weight would be about one pound per month old. However I feel that this is inaccurate since she was so underweight when we first rescued her.I would like to get her spayed as soon as possible but not sure if she is old enough. any information or advice would be helpful. thank you very much!
