Hi there, I'm having issues with my cat. (obviously, which is why I'm writing this)
He is two years old, I've had him since he was a very small kitten.
It is not unusual for him to pee on towels/blankets when they are left on the floor for long periods of time. He has done that a few time (Maybe three times in two years) since I've had him.
However, I moved back to my moms house three weeks ago, bringing Edgar from the only house he'd ever lived in.
For the first two weeks he was fine, a little scared but other wise normal. After a few days he started acting like his old self.
But a few days ago, I found that all my laundry was soaked in pee. (I'm very slow at unpacking, ha)
I wasn't entirely sure that it was him, since I have another cat as well. Once I had spent a few days cleaning up all my laundry, hanging it and folding it to get it out of his way I thought he was going to stop.
The following morning I woke up to my pillows covered in piss, which I then had to wash (and who doesn't love washing entire bed sets..?)
Last night, I was straightening up my room and when I went to make my bed, there was a big wet stain.
And once I had scrubbed by pillow top and had it smelling less like pee and mostly like vinegar I finished making my bed.
After I finished I sat down and hooked up my TV and when I went to go lay in bed to watch a movie I caught Edgar peeing on my pillows again.

Now that I'm finished my long winded story, I was wondering if this behaviour could be because of a new environment?
Edgar (my problem child) and Ikki both stay in my room with me. I clean their litter box once daily at least unless it smells rather putrid,
They have water constantly and I make sure their bowl is always clean and not gunky.
They don't have a regulated diet, I just fill their small bowl with a handful whenever I notice it's low or they start being dinks.
I have fed them both Origin/Acana cat food, and have since they were both little. I don't normally change their food unless it's a bowl of my mom's cat food when they are out and I'm unable to pick up a bag for them.
Also, my mom has cats, but they don't come in my room at all, and the urine doesn't smell like any cat spray that I've ever smelt (besides, both of my boys are neutered)

I'm really scared that there could be something really wrong with Edgar.
He is a little underweight but has been gaining weight since I moved back home.
I've checked everything he has peed on and there is no traces of blood or any weird colours mixed in with the pee.
Also, none of the feces in the box look funny at all. They look like normal kitty poos.
He is still acting like himself, he still plays with Ikki, he eats and drinks as he usually would.

Again, I'm really scared, and stumped as to what is causing my usually sweet boy to be a little brat.

Thank you anyone who sits through and reads this, and thanks to anyone who replies.
Many kind thank yous ~Kyle.

Hi and welcome :)

The first stop should be a vet visit. This will be the easiest way to reassure yourself that nothing is medically wrong with him.

If he checks out clear, then we can definitely give more advice.

One thing that jumps out at me right away is it seems like the cats are sharing one box. I know that for now they are only in one room, but it might help just to add at least onemore box and ideally 2 more boxes.
