Never seems to fail that I always end up with some stray in my house. This time it's a tiny (Maybe 4-5 week old?) kitten who ATM we are calling Savannah. My neighbor went to Savannah, GA over the weekend for a small vacation and found this scrawny but feisty bundle of joy by the dumpster. Of 5 kittens she could only grab this one because the rest were too feral. :( She's an animal lover like me and couldn't just leave her! So she took her back to the hotel, got her some food (and a bag for her siblings to eat so they wouldn't be hungry!) and brought her home today. She can't keep her (traveling nurse with 2 cats and a Golden Retriever already) so I offered to "foster" her until we could get her spayed and find a good home.....Or I can convince my very tolerant and loving husband to let me keep her. ;) We'll see what happens. Lol! She's a bit spity but still able to be handled. I'm sure she'll settle in fast. :)

So here she is, Miss Savannah!

The boys aren't entirely sure about her. Lol!

Her goody package that my neighbor sent her home with! Such a sweet lady, she even offered to pay for all her vet care and spay. :heart4:

Aww, what a little sweetie.  I hope your boys start to settle with her soon and offer her some cat cuddles and grooming to make up for loosing her siblings when she was picked up by your neighbour.   Keep us updated on how she does with munching her way through that food pile and getting used to litter toileting  now she has moved in to a nice warm home.

She does great with the box actually. No accidents this far! (*knock on wood*) Ollie and Pin are curious about her but she hisses and swats them anytime they come near her. And she's going through food like crazy!! She can eat almost an entire 3oz can in one sitting, by herself. Unfortunately she is a fish addict though so I'm in for some work because my boys never really get fish foods and eventually she'll have to eat from the "community" dish where fish only goes down 2-3x a month.

And hubby is in love with her. He spent probably 20 minutes playing with her when he got home from work (and finally got to meet her!) then insisted she sleep in our bed last night...which the boys aren't allowed to do since we HAD a no pets in the bedroom at night rule. :shysmile2

She'll be daddy's little girl then - it didn't take her long to win his heart over!
(Does that mean you can sneak the boys in too then?)

Has she been checked out by the vet? I'd hate for your kitties to get sick if she has something contagious.

Sounds to me like she's a foster failure ;)

Beautiful little girl!

Tbh, I want everyone out cause of my insomnia. It's hard for me to sleep with everyone in the room since nighttime is party time for kitties. Lol!

And yes, she's been check out and is in good health! :)

Oliver and Pin have officially taken to her and she's given into them. Oliver is my "motherly cat" and has been persistent in his attempts to force groom her. (He did the same with Pinball when he came home lol) Pin enjoys having someone to match his energy and they run full force through the house chasing each other and wrestling most of the day.

I think we've decided on calling her Sally since I have family named Savannah, making it a bit odd to call her. Though when she gets into her fits of biting and scratching, we call her El Diablo and joke it's her second personality.

So Sally aka El Diablo has moved in then.
I love that idea of Oliver 'force-grooming' her tiny little head and body, and her tearing about with Pin and destroying your home.  It sounds like she is the perfect addition to your feline family.  How lovely.

Funny you say you don't like them in your room because of your insomnia:  I have always struggled with sleep but sleep better when joined by a cat.  It gives me a sense of calm.  I previously had 2 girls that would literally run over my bed as it was a futon and they didn't register it wasn't part of the regular floor....  Once Mouse gives up hope of mice appearing from under the washing machine he just curls up by my legs and stays there till I decide it's time to get up.
