Hello world! I just adopted a 5 week old kitten from a girl I know. She had adopted it from someone elsewhom I don't know, only a few days prior.
I discovered right away that her skin was peeling with her fur. She said that the Kitty was in a bad home where some kids put glue on her fur. I'm not really sure what other damage they did to her, but as the Kitty cleans herself, pieces just Peel. Aside from this one thing, she is a super happy, playful Kitty. I don't see any other obvious signs of damage or illness. Her face looks healthy, she's eating and going potty fine....
I guess my question is, what do I do? Her skin underneath is a little pink, but no signs of fleas/ringworm. I really don't think a vet is exactly necessary. Is there something I can do at home to help the fur stop coming off or to maybe hasten the situation so that the glue is all removed? Or anything that might help healthy new fur come in?
Please advise.
