Farewell, Striker.

With heavy and broken hearts, today, our family has to say a final farewell to our beloved Striker. Faithful companion for 14 years, through a LOT of transitions. He was a trooper through it all. We are grateful for the life, love and blessing that he was, and we commend him to the care of the Creator.

What a wonderful tribute for a beautiful cat! He had a beautiful expressive face, I know the pain of not seeing it again will hurt for a long time. But one day you will remember him with smiles instead of tears. Remember that being the cat he was, he would never want you to remember him with such sadness but to celebrate the 14 years of love you shared. I know it's hard, especially when your heart is broke in two, but try not to dwell on his death but remember the good times and what a courageous cat he was. My heart goes out to you, please accept my condolences on your loss. Bless you for loving so much to hurt so bad. RIP beautiful Striker!

Still miss this guy SO MUCH.

Thanks for posting more photos. His eyes are very expressive and I see a beautiful soul in them.

It's 5 months on for me and I miss my beloved kitty very much also. I still think about her every day.

I am grateful for our time together. Peace be with you.

Beautiful photographs of Striker, what a gentle soul he looks in these, like @zoneout  has said, his eyes are so expressive.   2 months can feel like a long time but with healing it is a moment in a time which passes differently for all of us.   It does pass though.  Safe hugs from me.
