COOKED BONELESS CHICKEN

Ive been giving my 4 mo old kittens cooked chicken for lunch along with 1 3oz can of wet food twice a day. Is this too much. Also I'm not sure about giving them chicken which the breeder said she fed them.... Help!!

How much (weight?) chicken are you giving your kitten. As long as it is less than 15% of the total amount of food that your kitten eats it should be fine.

How much (weight?) chicken are you giving your kitten. As long as it is less than 15% of the total amount of food that your kitten eats it should be fine.

It is very important to know how much unbalanced chicken the kittens are getting.  They need calcium, liver, etc in their food to properly balance the chicken if it is more than 15% of their diet.

thank you for your response. I was giving them about a handful of chicken because i wasn"t sure how much to give them,. well I stopped now after seeing your post, now I"m just giving them.  3 oz can of lifes abundance  canned food 3x a day.
