Hi!  I have a kitten named Oliver and I want to find a good kitten food for him (Wet or Dry), but the thing is I will probably be the one paying for it and I don't have the money to buy more than $15.  Right now we are feeding him the Iams Kitten Food and I have been asking my mom if we can switch to a better food, so my mom said I would pay for it.

I would like to be able to find a good food at PetSmart.

Here are a few foods that I have found that

I have approved of but I need a second opinion:

-NUTRO NATURAL CHOICE Soft Loaf Kitten Food (Canned) $1.19

-BLUE Wilderness Kitten Food (Canned) $1.49

-Nature's Variety Instinct Cat Food Rabbit Formula (Canned) $1.79

-BLUE Wilderness Grain Free Kitten Food 2 lbs. (Dry) $12.99

-Wellness CORE Grain Free Kitten Food 2 lbs. (Dry) $13.99

How long is the $15 supposed to last? That is not very much, so I would advise you look for something like Fancy Feast classic line or Friskies pate at Costco or on sale at the supermarket. Wet is better than dry because it hydrates your kitty, so try to stick with canned food. I would ask your mom if perhaps you can use both the money allotted towards the Iam's food plus the $15 you have to find something better. Iam's used to be considered high quality, but that is no longer the case. Try to convince your mom that spending a little more on cat food now will prevent costly vet bills and stress later.
