Hello again,

Tiki has a chronic URI and I've noticed that her breath always has a bad smell to it - I don't really mind it, it's kind of a "cat" smell, like cat food. But it's obviously more than cat food, since our other cat doesn't have that same "bad breath" smell.

I know that people say tartar (she just got her adult teeth) or kidney/liver problems, but my girlfriend suggests it's probably just post-nasal drip from the chronic URI. I don't think it's her mouth, since you smell it most when she yawns.

We've got to bring her to the vet Monday to have her sutures removed after her spaying, but does anyone have any ideas?

Is this normal for a cat with a chronic URI?

Bad breath is usually an indication of a health issue or dental issues. Having the vet run some blood work would be a good idea.
