Hi! I am glad that you have decided to go to the vet.

Unfortunately, I do not have much experience with what this could be. Hopefully more experienced members will chime in. However, either way, you should get him to the cat for a definite diagnosis, especially if he is not improving.

Vibes for you and your kitty!

I really don't know but a sinus (a track created by some sort of infection) can kinda look like that in humans. It looks like it would get infected easily to me, does it go deep? Any abscess under there?

Either way I definitely agree that you should go to the vet.

Thanks! I went to the vet and he told me to buy a cream which name i don't really remember. So i used the cream and on the next day the wound was totally dried and i could actually peel it and that's what i did since the vet told me that i have to peel that dead skin. So everything is great now and thank you all for your concerns and your replies. Cheers!

Hi, my cat is having a similar problem, and I was wondering if you could look back at the cream to tell me the name. We have not had any luck treating the cat, so any info would be appreciated!

This is an old thread and it looks like the original poster is no longer around.  You could try sending him a PM and see if you can reach him that way.  He posted from Bulgaria though, so depending on where you are, the cream may not be available.  Still it's worth a try.

You mention that you've not had any luck with treatment - does that mean he's been to the vet?  If you're not getting results, you might consider getting a second opinion.

Please let us know how your kitty does.  And good luck!

Since this thread is 10 years old I don't think the OP has come back to check this thread. But thanks for your input and welcome to TCS! :wave3:
