It's been 2 months since my colon surgery. Feeling pretty good, just a slight ache, but nothing serious. I've lost 23 lbs. and all my pants and shorts are big on me. Time for a shopping spree! But I want to make sure I keep the weight off. Since the surgery my appetite is not what it used to be, I fill up much faster, which is good. We've been eating a lot healthier, salads, fruits, etc. Haven't bought cold cuts in a long time now. Not that we will never treat ourselves again, but we're limiting the salami, ham, etc. And funny thing is that neither of us miss it. So glad the colon surgery is behind me and I'm feeling good. My blood pressure is a bit higher than it should be, but the dr thinks it's the result of blood flowing better after the surgery that has elevated the pressure. Taking an addition bp pill, just 1/2 a day, so we'll see what happens.

Once again thank you to all my TCS friends for all your messages of concern. It means so very much to me.
