Hello,

I know he won't ever be considered purebred because I have no papers and he was rescued, but he doesn't seem like your normal rescued pointed cat. I believe his coloration would be considered lynx point mitted. I am new to describing cat features, so I could be wrong with that description.

Here is a picture. He can be a playful kitten, but acts completely different then my other kitten. He will go limp when you pick him up and likes to roll on the floor and lounge on his side. He is shy, but an amazing sweet heart. I adore him. The foster mom did an amazing job with him. He is a big kitten as well.

He was rescued with his brother. Here is a picture of his brother. I don't have his brother, someone else adopted him. He was super pretty too. I got to meet him in person. He also went limp and liked to get is belly rubbed.

Certainly has a lot of rag doll or ragamuffin features in him. They are extremely gentle and great with kids. My young daughter absolutely tortured our baby ragamuffin and yet he is closer bonded to her than us. He actually snuggles into her neck when they lay down. But yes, the boys can get huge. Ours is probably around 25 pounds but totally muscular and not obese. He's a keeper- enjoy. Just avoid feeding kibble only as boys have a propensity to block when they get around 3 yo. You are safer with canned or raw. Enjoy!

Thanks so much for the response. Your ragamuffin sounds adorable and so well behaved. I would love a 25lb healthy cat. The biggest boy we have had in the family was 15lbs and he already seems huge. But that could be because he is also very fluffy.

I know this thread is old, but I also have a rescue kitten that looks like a lynx Ragdoll. She go limp when you pick her up, follows me everywhere, snuggles my neck and loves to give kisses and cuddle.

Yes, ragdoll is a good enough guess. Or even a colorpoint sibirian - as modern sibirians tend nowadays to get such a sweet doll alike faces... :)
