I loved to be pinned upside down by my human, but it took me some time to train him. For any cats reading, here's how you do it.

Stage 1.
Play with your human's emotions by playing with him from time to time. This will encourage him to play with you more.

Stage 2.
Become aggressive with your human by biting and scratching him when he plays with me. This will cause him to pin you down in order to "train you out of this behaviour". I know, right. lol.

Stage 3
When you are pinned down, begin purring loudly, and stop all aggression, fighting and displays of fear.

Stage 4
Repeat. Depending on how stupid your human is, it might take some months for the human to click that you just want to be picked up.

After a while, your human will just pick you up and put you in this position and stroke your head. All need for aggression and fear displays are gone, and you dont need to bite him or scratch him at all. Training humans is easy lol.

@Gareth,   I got trained by my cat too!
I got it pretty much within a week though as I'd seen him playing with his fur-mom (she'd regularly paste him to the floor, pin him down on his back, and lock jaws / bite his throat, and show him who was boss).   He obviously loved the whole process so when he lept up at my head like he would do to his mum I'd place him on his back and rub his neck and belly with my nose and he would be putty in my hands.  LoL.   He's now 3 1/2 and still likes nothing better - though I do try to avoid the part where he jumps at my head.   His expression is just like your cat here.
It's great to see another cat loving the same thing!
