I noticed this spot on my cats cheek earlier today. It wasn't there yesterday. Any ideas what it is or if i should just let it be? She doesn't seem bothered by it.

Weird spot on my cats cheek.

I noticed this spot on my cats cheek earlier today. It wasn't there yesterday. Any ideas what it is or if i should just let it be? She doesn't seem bothered by it.
It could be some type of scrape. Are there any other spots anywhere? I have been fortunate in that I haven't dealt with ringworm so I don't know if that could be what it is.
This does look like it could be ringworm to me so I would go to the vet just in case. If it is ringworm it can spread to humans too so I would check yourself and any family for raised circular marks too. Avoid touching it for now.
