Hi,

I'd like to introduce our latest foster kitten, Toby. We think he is about three months old.

Someone dumped him outside my house about 6 weeks ago.  I heard a lot of hissing and growling going on and found two of my older male cats with this poor little kitten cornered. As soon as he saw me he gave a little mew, then started purring like crazy when I picked him up and brought him inside. He's too friendly to be feral, he must have been left there by someone.

I didn't have a spare room for him, so we got him a cage. I don't really like seeing animals in cages, but he's  happy in there.

When the weather is good we push it out onto the deck so he can watch what the other cats are doing.

He gets plenty of time to run around inside the house and play with the others too. These days his cage is mainly just for sleeping in.

Yesterday we decided to let him out into the garden for the first time.

He's good friends with Albert.

We're trying to find a home for him, but until we do he'll be staying with us.

Wow is he ever adorable!  I love his markings, the white going onto his nose is so cute.  And of course always great to hear when a kitty gets saved!

Thanks.

He's such a sweet, friendly kitten too. I'm hoping we can find a nice home for him soon.

Toby is one lucky cat! He's handsome, and will make a wonderful companion for someone (or you???)!

I think there is a very good chance that Toby will end up as one of our family. Mr Husband keeps turning down his prospective adopters!

The first person to call was an international student from China who only had 18 months left on her visa. Good call on that one, I thought. Then we got a call from a very nice lady and her teenage son but he turned them down because they live in an apartment on the 14th floor.

"And what if they forget to close all the windows?"

He now says that unless someone with a garden and other cats wants to take him, Toby is staying with us. Ah well, when you have as many cats as we do one more doesn't make that much difference I guess.

Oh I love that!  Is Mr. Husband as much a cat lover as you are?

He's rapidly turning into a Crazy Cat Guy. He'd never had a pet before we met, but now he'll happily spend his day off putting up cat shelving and finding other ways to keep them amused.

What an adorable FOSTER FAILURE!!!!
 You're right.

We managed to re-home all of the kittens born last year and weren't expecting any more now that the whole colony has been TNR'd. I guess our reputation is spreading though.

I sometimes think that in my case it's more like Trap, Neuter and Hoard.

I said out loud to a sleeping Blighty och what a beautiful face. Mr. Husband is quite right. Nobody is good enough for him.

Thank you @Stewball  and @LittleLion

He is very cute, isn't he? I'm glad we decided to keep him. Looking at these photos makes me realise how much he has grown. He's five months old now and looks like this,

He's still best buddies with 'Bert. They chase each other around the house, wrestle until they're worn out then fall asleep like this.

I love this picture, it looks like they're giggling.

He has to go and get neutered tomorrow morning, so please keep your fingers crossed for the little guy.

Omg. He's just the cutest. I completely agree with your husband. Nobody else is good enough. If I was in your shoes, I wouldn't have been able to give hom up. He's absolutely adorable and his markings are amazing!
