So Friday night there was a knock at my door and my neighbor had two little kittens for me. I am apparently the neighborhood cat lady now lol
When they handed me the black one I thought it was dead it was so listless. It was a scary night, I wasn't sure if she was going to make it. Yesterday morning she was up playing with her sister. It actually made me cry happy tears of joy seeing her play. She is still a bit weak but getting better.
They both were so skinny. The black one was nothing but skin and bones. They both were covered completely in burs with matted yucky fur.
I am taking them for a checkup with the shelter today. Then fostering them until they are old enough to be put up for adoption.
The diluted Calico we named Hope & her Black sister we named Faith. The calico has nasty eye gunk but it active and playful.
They are so quiet they make no noise. Not even a single meow during their bath. I am just so happy I could help them.
