So when I picked up Dora and Olivia (16 weeks old) from my friends they were eating a combo of Purina Kitchen chow and Friskies Indoor delight and gave me a huge container of the mixture. Is this ok for now and if not what would you guys suggest.

Honestly, it's crap.

Any food bought at the grocery store is garbage really, for dry I recommend Natural Balance kitten formula, and I also highly recommend feeding them at least one meal a day of canned.

Even Fancy Feast classics (pate style) is fine.

Depends on what you can afford, there are lots of high quality, grain free foods out there to choose from.

Thanks. I looked at the price of the natural balance dry and it seem resonable, $12.99 for a 6 lb bag and the same place has fancy feast 20/$10 ($0.50 a can).

Yes, it is reasonably priced, which is why I recommend it. As i said, there are lots of others available too that are even better, but for an affordable food, it has a pretty decent list of quality ingredients, and they like the taste too.
