I'm off of work (very much needed), and am spending time with my two new fur babies. Anyways, I was getting up off the couch and didn't see Dora and for a breig second stepted on her tail. I feel so bad, but she seems fine as she is moving her tail back and forth and running around like a normal kitten. I even felt the tail and she didn't jerk away or meow loudly when I touched it.

I feel so so bad :(

Aw, poor baby.  But these things happen--if she's running around like normal, she's probably forgotten all about it.

She forgot so much about it she picked up her favorite toy mouse, batted it around for a while,.took it to the cat bed and is now sleeping with it.

Yeah, Ritz tends to get under foot a lot. I once stepped on her tail so hard a chunk of fur came off. Which of course I put in my keepsake box after apologizing profusely.
Cats know when you accidentally did something to them that hurt, cause you apologize a lot, act remorseful.... and give them lots of hugs, kisses and treats (not necesarily in that order).

Unfortunately, this happens in our house, too.  Don't beat yourself up over it, just give her extra lovins.

Well the kitty world got back at me yesterday as I broke my the toe next to the pinky toe. I wasn't sure until this morning when I woke up.

I did worse to Mr. Grimsby once. He dashed between my legs as I was walking into the dining room and I ended up smashing him against the dining room table. Boy, talk about feeling horrible! Fortunately, I didn't do any lasting damage and he's long forgotten it, but I haven't. Doesn't it just kill you to hurt your furbabies!

Best regards,
