Good morning and Happy Friday!

Rick and I are taking vacation days today and we've going to be out and about for a while, so I wanted to get my question in before we left:

What's the last thing you purchased? Did you buy groceries? Gas? A book?

Hmm...
I think the last thing I purchased was topical flea treatment for our cats
. I honestly don't remember.

i think my auto-shop cat food order went through today, so that would be the last thing i purchased. the last thing i went out and bought would be in early july, when i did my most recent once every two months shopping trip.

My DH requested a "short day" at work on Wednesday (so only 8hrs) so we took the kids to Chick-fil-a for dinner.  They had a blast in the play place.

A deodorized diaper pail!  Not because we have any kids around--it's for depositing soiled puppy pads that Travis leaves in the cat room....

Groceries at Bottom Dollar-great price on Scott paper towels and I had coupons got me to go out before the weekend killed their stock as had planned to go next week.

I bought groceries earlier today, one of my least favorite tasks.  My back is hurting really bad now and lugging those bags is not easy.  I could've waited for help but I wanted to get  the shopping done.

Well, we're back home. We went down to the Green Dragon, which is a large flea market, bakery, butcher shop, etc type of place. We like to go down a couple times a year. Today we brought back a nice pork shoulder for pulled pork sandwiches (we'll grill it in a few weeks...I tucked it in the freezer for now), some cashews, some PepperJack meat sticks, and three lawn flags (one for Christmas, one for Halloween, and the same Christmas one for my sister). Had some breakfast at Cracker Barrel this morning.

We stopped at the Reading Outlets on our way home and I bought a new cutting board and two pastry brushes. Rick bought a pair of shorts. And that was our day.

Green Dragon Market:   http://www.greendragonmarket.com/index.php  It's an interesting place. And it's only open on Friday.
