What do you think about the spaying incision?

I had my cat spayed about 8 days ago and I feel the scar/incision looks really ugly. It's always looked like that except for the glue being there but now there's less glue.

I try to make her stay calm and even out on a onesie to stop her from licking the area but she has licked it from time to fine.

There is no discharge, slightly warm but pretty much the same since day one. There's been bumpy swelling since day one (still there today).

Yes, that incesion doesn't look very good, especially 8 days out. You need to have the vet recheck her.

Things to watch for are reddness around the incision, swelling (more than the little bump it usually has), and bleeding or oozing. It should just be a little crease in the skin with maybe a little scab of dried blood. It kinda looks like maybe it's bled a little? If it hasn't gotten worse looking then that's a good sign, but it should be healing and getting better, not staying the same. I would just take her in and get a re-check to be safe. They can take a peek at it and reassure you that things are going well.
