My birthday is in August, so my email and actual mailbox are getting filled up with "birthday gifts" from stores, restaurants, etc. now that it is August. Some of the deals are good. I'll use the $10 in Kohls cash with no strings attached. Free dinner and dessert at a local restaurant we like? Yes, that will get used. 25% off at Payless Shoes probably won't get used. Free dessert at another restaurant will only get used if we happen to go and the $50 off if I spend $100 at a local jewelry store will most likely not get used. I wonder what tomorrow's mail will bring? :lol3:

Do you sign up for deals and if you do, do you use any of your birthday offers?

ha, I love birthday months! Mine's in September and I am already getting deals

QVC is willing to send a nice tote handbag if I purchased an item of $50 this month. Won't be using.
I get free sundae at Friendly's, and free Frozen Yogurt at Cups on my birthday that I certainly use!

Also the Kohls. I mostly get coupons from places I shop at with the store card.

The only thing I signed up for was Marble Slab Creamery. I think Yves Rocher and The Bodyshop had my birthday but I opted out of those a while back. I have no Marble Slabs around here, and my birthday is in December. It's not worth driving far out of my way to get ice cream in the middle of December alone because no one will want to take that trek with me for overpriced ice cream.

LOL, My birthday is this month too! (21st). I just signed up for Ruby Tuesday's today. You get a free burger on your birthday.

Maybe I should sign up for more places! LOL!

Happy belated!

@Winchester; some companies want you to sign up for some free card or discounts or something, and some might let you sign up right on their website. If you want the birthday offers, you'll usually have to sift through the junk and promotions they send you, to your physical mailbox or your email inbox.

I've gotten them by either signing up for Reward Cards or providing my email address.

I usually get a "free" dessert coupon from my favorite pizza place. They have amazing mud pie but it's dine in only and you have to spend $10 or more to get it "free". I also am a part of Dairy Queen's Blizzard Fan Club and I get a buy one get one free blizzard coupon once a year on my birthday. I use both of those coupons and my dad gets the other blizzard of his choice because I cannot eat 2.

Also our Montana Club local diner place will give you whatever percent your age is off on your birthday. But only on your birthday. The coupons I mentioned expire like 2 weeks later so I can use them whenever with my ID. My birthday is next month :)
