She came from a momma who lived in a barn, she was the only longhair in the litter and she's super cute. Her fur isn't too long/thick and she manages it herself, although she is constantly cleaning her fur. What is she? Is she a mix of a few breeds? She's also relatively small for a cat, but not ridiculously so. She doesn't mind being picked up, but doesn't always like to put up with it for long, and her way of showing affection is licking you and just curling up beside you. She even likes to share my bed and get under my quilt! I'm telling you all this to describe her personality. Thanks! Charlie.

She is absolutely beautiful, you must be so proud!I love her little mustache! I think, just like dogs, a mixed breed of unknown ancestry can bring about a beautiful mixture of the best of many breeds. I wish you well, and pray for many many years of happiness!

She is very beautiful ;)

She would be classed as a domestic longhair :D Her colour is black and white but cats with these colors are often referred to as tuxedo cats :)

I also think Domestic long hair and I can't see the full coloring, but looks like a tuxedo-cat.

CUTE!

She has a mustache and a goatee:)
Too cute. Just to reiterate, she would be considered a domestic long hair.

It's good that she does a good job keeping herself clean. My DLH Beans doesn't seem to mind being dirty. I think her being mothered by a dog has a lot to do with it.

I have to give her a wipe down with unscented baby wipes every week or so.

Aw thanks guys! I never really thought of her as a tuxedo kitty ^.^ And yeah, her moustache is the source of many jokes! And her obsessive cleaning is all good and well until she pukes up a hairball as big as her leg xD Also, upon closer inspetion, I think she's partly oriental, because her face is quite trangular :)

One thing to remember, is that cat's are not like dogs with regards to their gene pool. Less than 2% of cats in the word are considered pedigreed cats. This means that unlike dogs "mixes" are very uncommon.

Add that to the fact that breeds like "oriental" are even less common, and you see that the chances of her having Oriental blood are very very low.

Hope this helps.

It does :) I just meant that she has a triangular face that is associated with any cat such as oriental, siamese etcetera, rather than the rounded and chubby face of european domestic shorthairs and the type :)
