One of my kitties has pancreatitis.  My vet has recommended I feed a HP wet food, in addition to HP dry food.  I have tried six different types of the wet and my kitty will not eat any of them.  I am now considering a brand called "U Stew for Cats".  You basically add ground chicken or turkey to the mix.  Has anyone tried this product?

Is there a food you know he likes? To introduce a new food you want them to eat (that they may not like - well, don't know at first that they like ;) ) it helps tremendously to introduce it slowly. For instance, if you know he like Fancy Feast classic chicken, you'd first mix maybe 1/8th of a teaspoon of the new food in the meal. If he eats that, slooooowly increase the new, and reduce the old: over like a week or two (at his pace).

My experience in transitions is that people don't move slowly enough and give up too soon. But most cats aren't adventuresome eaters, and they need time to adjust to new smells, new textures, etc.
