clavamox

cat was put on clavomox I guess to speed healing after spay and a sarcoma developed. She had diarrrhea but we made it to the 7 day mark and then too stop it will the diarrhea go away after stopping meds???

You should call your vet about the diarrhea! Clavamox CAN cause diarrhea, but so can many other things. If your cat has a serious infection, they may want to switch to a different antibiotic. Give them a call...

Its just from the clavamox she was fine till she started it they used it to accelerate healing of a sarcoma from spay surgery. I know its a side effect just curious if anyone out there had the same issues and how long after stopping meds does it subside. I would assume like any other drug side affects go away after its stopped. I went to an animal welfare society and they are terrible esp when you have a question you cannot get through to them nor do they call you back. It is from the clavamox nothing else her sarcoma is healing nicely just curiously how long loose stools last??
