FYI Natural Balance pea free Ultra Premium Cat Food, dry

Well, I just received a disturbing phone call from Natural Balance regarding their food. I had inquired about any products that did not contain peas, because I could only find Ultra Premium Cat Food.  With this food there were two choices, Indoor and Original, and I was interested to know if there were any others because this one has a number of protein sources and I was looking for a more limited number. Unfortunately, they informed me that there were no options for me, and I mentioned I had just purchased this one, and the lady said, "we are discontinuing that product and will be switching to more products with peas as this is the direction the industry is headed because it is a good product" or something to that effect.

So, if anyone is looking for pea free products, you can cross this company off the list of fry food options, sadly.

My go to wet food that is free of all veggies, potatoes, and peas is Nutro Natural Choice Chicken, Turkey, and Duck. My cat adores them licks the plate clean. Perhaps you can try them as well? They have sliced and minced varieties of both the chicken and turkey. The duck only comes in pâté, though and it is hard to find in store. I use Chewy.com for bulk delivery.
