Hi, my name is Allison. I'm from Alaska, lived here my whole life and love it!
I came across this site researching raw diets and I thank everyone in the raw diet part of the forum. It has helped me tremendously.
Our cat of 22 years past away a couple months back and my boss literally found a litter of kittens the next day.
The litter of 4 were under a tarp on a trailer on her boyfriends property when they heard one, Cocoa, crying. Thinking Momma Kitty, as we call her, was feral, she trapped her and got her spayed to prevent more litters. Momma Kitty got to stay once we realized she was just a sweet stray cat producing feral babies.
The kittens were only about 3 or 3.5 weeks at the time, placing their date of birth around 4/23-28/14. Two boys and two girls. Momma Kitty started leaving for days at a time once they turned 6 weeks, which is when I took my Cocoa home. My brother adopted her sister, Gracie and my boss kept the bigger brother, Lokee. Tigger, the other brother was adopted by a friend of her boyfriends.
Cocoa still gets to see Gracie and Lokee often. They stay very socialized with each other and love when they get to stay the night together.

Welcome!
I am a SE Alaskan gal myself. I am in AZ now. I have a shirt "YOU CAN TAKE THE GIRL OUT OF ALASKA. BUT NEVER ALASKA OUT OF THE GIRL". I love it.
All of my family live in Alaska. I miss them. My husband is Eskimo... cant get more Alaskan.
I have severe medical issues or we would be back... now! Lol

Are you in Anch or Fbks? I love Fbks! I talked to my dad today and he was BBQing fresh salmon when I called. Lol

Can you tell I miss home?

My SIL is part Athabaskan and part Cupi'k. Where are the Cupi'k from? I use to work for NOAA fisheries and talked to people from all over the state. I loved the older native people. Such sweethearts. Not Wasilla? I have family in Wasilla.
My husband and kids are Inpuiak. I spell it like I once saw it but I know it has a more common spelling. His bio parents are out of Kotzebue. My husband was adopted and we do not know his bio parents.

My Grandma is from Chevak, it's near Hooper Bay. I've never been there, but my Dad used to go every summer as a kid to fish. Their family native name is Nanok.
