I won't be around as often from now on.

Well I hate to say it but my time at TCS from this week on is going to be very restricted. As a supervisor now I can't spend time online during business hours - it sets a very bad example. It is one thing to break the rules as a worker, but another thing to break them as a manager! I want to apologize if I miss important events in your lives. I will check in as often as possible. I count everyone here as a true friend and I am going to have a difficult time adjusting to not "seeing" you here everyday.

I can tell that this job is going to be a challenge and I am looking for to the challenge. But I think it would be easier if I could just share my trials and tribulations as a new supervisor with you. This place cheers me up on a daily basis. It makes me feel like a part of a wonderful community.

Once again I am sorry if I don't manage to keep up with whatever is happening in your lives.

I am only rarely online at home. We have a limited package of internet with non high speed dial up. I am going to try and check in each morning before work.
