Hey I have just got a 10 week old kitten and she seems to have in as she is very affection with us, she's sleeping fine and using the litter tray but she's not eating a lot. We've had her 4 days and have tried both wet and dry food. The previous owners said she preferred dry but she wouldn't it eat it at ours so we got her wet food. She ate it the first day but has now been picking at it. Is this normal?

You should try some different brands of food, preferably one of the high end foods.  My fussies like Merrick, especially the Thanksgiving Dinner canned food, although I'm not sure where you might find it -- possibly Petco or Pet Supermarket, and of course online.  Merrick has good dry food as well.  And no, I don't work for them!  I would if I could, however, because I do like their foods.

Thanks I'll go shop around for some other brands tomorrow and see what she prefers.

Did the other owners tell you what kind of dry food she had been eating. If so I would put her back on it for a while until she got used to her new home and surroundings no matter what type of food it is. She doesn't need to much more anxiety than that right now.  :)
