Hi there,
Mother cat has been brilliant so far, but the kittens are climbing out of their nest box now, and exploring playing etc.
The thing is, in the nest box Tonks is fine with them, but as soon as they get out she turns crazy, flipping them over and biting them in the throat, she is being really rough, like she would play fight with another adult cat, she was biting one kitten so hard in the throat earlier I had to remove him from her.
Any advise? ty in advance.

Oy, poor cat momas!  This situation is quite stressful for them, and many do behaves like that.   Out in the wild this would be a very dangerous moment for them kittens - outside the nest, where mom has no control for them, and wide open for all attacks, them too weak to defend themselves or even flee.  Or even, too inexperienced to have any clue a threat is a threat.

Its only home inside with their human they are safe, and their wobbling walks out the nest are cute...

So,  separate them for a short moment if she overdoes, perhaps by just having a hand in, if you wish.   But Im sure it looks worse than it is...

As usual, try to diminish any other stress moments for the momma.

Good luck!
