Hello!  I am a newbie - I joined to ask a question about 3 orphans that I am bottle feeding.  I have since asked other questions  :)  And I've read a lot of threads and learned so much!

Everyone is very nice and welcoming.

We are a 2 cat household (soon to be 3 as we are keeping one of the orphan babies)

We have Oliver - who is 14 - we adopted him from our county shelter when he was just a few weeks old.  He rules the roost around here.  Last summer, someone decided we needed a wee black kitten and left him on our doorstep - so we have Wendell.   I'll try to attach photos.  Last photo is of little "siamese" orphan - we named her Darlene (Darling Darlene).  It's hard to get a good photo of her as the kittens are never still...But she is beautiful and sweet.

Lovely group and very helpful website.  So happy to "find" all of you :)

HI there. Welcome to the site!  It sounds like you are finding your way around which is great, and it is lovely to see pictures of your fur crew.  All beautiful cats lucky to be sharing a home with you.  Wendell and Darlene do look like they'll be keeping you busy for quite a while. :-D   Darlene is super cute bundle of fluff so no wonder you're thinking of making your place her furever home.

I look forward to hearing more about your cats and, of course, seeing lots more pictures if you can get them to sit still long enough. LoL

Update:  Here is Darlene - one of my 3 orphan kittens - I ended up keeping 2 of them (both of the girls) So we are now a 5 cat household.  They all enjoy "helping" me grade papers!

Here are my bottle babies all grown up!  Darlene(left) and Tabitha (middle) are now mine.  Shakey Graves (right) has moved to Florida.  What an experience to bottle feed and then raise all 3 of them! I've had many kittens over the years but never 3 at once.  They are little energizer bunnies and brought us so many laughs.  In spite of all the ups and downs, I am happy we were able to save them.

Thank you for the update.
What an adorable bundle of kitties!  Well done you, they look fit and well and gorgeous.  How lucky were they to find you and for all to grow up with a loving home.  I trust Oliver and Wendell have taken to their energizer bunny companions without too much protest?  Hopefully Darlene is s little less active than she was when you first posted about her, she is a stunning little cat.
I can't believe how you can let her lay on all those papers and not worry!  If that was my house the paper would look like it had been put through a shredder.

Thanks for asking about everyone.  Oliver gave us a bad scare recently - went into kidney failure all of a sudden - just stopped eating, cleaning himself, etc. etc.  Stayed at vet hospital for 4 days on IV fluids.  Now he's back home, on a beta blocker and we give him sub-q fluids twice  a week.

The strangest thing happened -  he  is like a new cat.  Formerly very lazy and unresponsive, he is suddenly playing!  Yes - chasing balls and climbing on the cat tree and looking us in the eyes.  We are elated and can only conclude that the beta blocker has opened up some blood flow to his brain and he is feeling great! He's still not a fan of the kittens but is much more interested in life.

Wendell still has enough kitten in him that he enjoys the 2 girls - they chase and tumble and have a blast.  It can sound like a herd of elephants on our wood floors at times.  Never a dull moment here now!!

Wow, that must have been majorly stressful with Oliver, but very glad he has pulled through and actually been in better form since he got some treatment at the vets.   Perhaps he had been unwell for a while and this treatment and new medication has resolved what ever was going on.  How great to see him playing a little looking like he is having some fun.  Just as well with those energizer bunnies keeping him busy.
