my 5 year old cat is booked in to be Neutered tomorrow morning and I've kept him in since 7 because he cant eat anything after that time, all he keeps doing is wanting to go out he don't stop meowing. Hes usually outside all night so I know its going to be weird for him. It makes me sad when I hear him meowing though, anything I can do to make him want to stay in or stop the meowing?! Also don't know how I'm going to get him in his cage to go to the vets, hes going to think I'm so mean!! any suggestions??

He'll be okay, fortunately it's just for a short time that you'll have to keep him confined.  It will be worth it--good for you for getting him neutered.

You're doing him a favor in the long run even if he doesn't know it. Maybe if you kept him distracted with some favorite toys. Does he have a Da Bird or another similar toy? Maybe a laser pointer? If he plays enough, maybe he'll be too distracted then tired to realize he never got what he originally wanted.
