Hi , im new :)

Hi guys , so i am new to this forum

my name is Juliette , i was born in Belgium , lived in Israel and then returned to belgium , and then moved to Brazil 

so yes i did move a lot haha 

i am a proud owner of 3 dogs and 4 cats ! 

Sadly , the cats aren't in Brazil with me , we had to leave them in Belgium ...

Here is my story

when we lived in Israel , we started feeding stray cats , since there are so many , and they kept on returning to us , we lived in a big house , with a big garden , they never really entered our house , we didnt know the age of all these stray cats , but there were many , then a person left 4 kittens in a big bowl of milk in front of our house , because everybody in the neighborhood knew our love for cats , our dog Bella , actually took care of the kittens which was amazing , they were very young and still needed milk from the bottle and we just fell inlove with them , at that point we had 10 cats 

Lucy , Kitty , Lucky , Natasha , Vinnie , Alexander , Shimshon , Kyra , Moesh , Nikolai ... 

then we were moving back to belgium , and didnt have the heart to leave the 10 cats on the street in Israel , they were always free , outside , except for the kittens they liked to enter the house once in a while since they were used to being inside , 3 of the cats actually werent tame at all , kitty , moesh and lucy , but still came to us for food , and we decided to take the 10 cats with us to belgium , where we also lived in a big house with a garden , we made a huge cat house in that garden , a small house for the cats to be in when it was cold , with heating , and an outside part as well , 2 of the cats kept on escaping from that cage , lucy and moesh , but they were always in the neighborhood , coming to us for food , me and kitty , the other untame cat , developed a very special bond , she followed me like a dog , and liked cuddling with me , and hated the rest of the world lol ....

anyway , we decide to let the cats run free like they did in belgium , which resulted into them chasing the 2 untame cats away , i was heartbroken , i never saw them anymore , until i discovered one of my neigbors took both of them in and took care of tem , even though they dont like humans that much , 

so i was left with 8 cats 

kitty got ill ... which left me heartbroken the only thing keeping her alive were the machines in the hospital , and i didnt want to put her to sleep , i just couldn't ... eventually one day , she didnt even wake up to see me , i visited her every day , and that day she just kept on sleeping , and she looked so peaceful , but in pain so i decided that was the

her brother soon got the same problem as her Lucky , it hurt me so much , he was the cuddliest guy from the entire group , but also he passed away ...

so now i was left with 6 cats 

i got news we had to move to Brazil ... we were going to live in an apartment and couldnt take the 6 cats with us

my brother who was old enough to live on his own now , decided he would stay in Belgium and live with the cats , Kyra , my beautiful girl also passed away , of age , she lived a nice peaceful life 

and Vinnie her brother , got kidnapped , yes it sounds weird , but he got kidnapped , my best friend fell inlove with him and he with her , and she asked me if she could have him and i said ok , and he is still alive in good hands

left with 4 cats

my brother is taking good care of them and we skype nearly every day , i miss having a cat around ... 

we did take our 3 dogs with us because they are used to being inside , we live in a huge apartment now , and i', considering adopting a cat

please no hate , i love my 4 cats in Belgium , and they are getting used to living inside the house , many people think it was wrong of me not to bring the 6 cats to brazil , but i would never take their freedom away , they are so used to running outside , that i just couldn't lock them up in an apartment , may the other cats R.I.P <3

i really miss them , and i am sure im getting a cat soon , i miss having a cat around

they always do the funniest things , and i always find them in the funniest positions haha

Your story is wonderful. You did a great job, doing your best to take care of all 10 cats. Unfortunately with outdoor cats sometimes they do just up and disappear! It seems you really do love them otherwise I don't think you would have brought 10 cats to Belgium with you in the first place! Thank you for doing your best to keep them safe and loved after you moved away from them. 

When you Skype do you get to see your 4 remaining cats?

I am new too! 

I am so glad I found this remarkable site. I am slowly moving through exploring all the nooks and crannies, as any well behaved kitty would do

My husband Marty and I have two wonderful senior Oriental Shorthairs. Dr. Hush Puppy- a Lilac Point, is a very laid back and intelligent kitty, who constantly purrs and follows me around all over the house. Since I am disabled, I use a power wheel chair most of the time, and one of his favorite past-times is sitting on an arm of the chair and taking rides around the house.   He also enjoys hanging out in the window box I made for the boyz, soaking up the sun and napping.  He will be 15 in January.

Our other kitty is Sir Hubble Pinkerton. He is a white Oriental, and will be 14 in October. He is a full brother to Dr. Hush Puppy, out of two different litters. I adopted both of the boys who are also both special need's kitties.

I am a retired social worker, former breeder of Orientals, Siamese, Russian Blue and Burmese. While cats have captured my heart, I am also passionate about horses. Actually I love all animals- they are such amazing beings.  I also love writing about them. 

I just am so happy that I found this site! With all the great information here, I will be spending a lot of time soaking it all in.
